7th February 2015
Well, no sooner has Christmas disappeared from sight than Valentine's Day is on the horizon ;) Of course, this has been a lot of fun for me, as I've been playing around with new creature designs for the big day itself.
The first Creature Event of the year took place on 18th January and was a big success. And the next one is happening tomorrow, 8th February at 8pm (UK time) in my online shop. You can find out more about how they work here. There's also been a change in how the checkout system works.
It's been a busy start to the year for me - I'm not entirely sure where January went, but I know it's been a lot of fun!
The Guinea Pigs have been having quite a work out of late, and I do love these Cupid Guinea Pigs! I found cute little metal arrows on eBay and couldn't resist!
In other news, Paul Jones of Phoenix Glass and I have been hard at work coming up with a new collaboration. Paul made two sizes of glass hearts for the creatures to sit on - aren't they wonderful?!
And so here are the large hearts providing a lovely display to a number of Love Couples I've made specially for them.
And here are the creatures I've made for the small hearts...
I'll also be listing a small number of both sizes of hearts which are available on their own (Paul will post them off direct) - they are such a lovely way of showing off the wee creatures!
In other news, after several years of the Mice monopolising them, the Bunnies and Penguins have moved into the flowerpots as well. These are 3.5cm flowerpots (the Mice's flowerpots are only 3cm).
And lastly, those of you who have adopted wee creatures, may well have received a little badge to say thank you. I was having a think about what else I could send out, and I recently came across It's A Wrap Cornwall, a family-run business specialising in personalised chocolates and sweeties. And so when you next order a wee creature, you might just find one of these in with your order!
They are all so adorable!
