Wedding Bears (b.April 2001)

I made these cake toppers for my own wedding in 2001, along with over 30 individual polymer clay figures for each of the wedding guests. These took some time to create, and I was very pleased with the results.

The groom's buttonhole was made out of polymer clay, although the bride had a silk white flower hand-sewn to her veil, and she carried a bouquet of paper roses with ribbons. Everything else was created from polymer clay.

The Wedding Party (b.April 2001)

This photograph shows all the polymer clay models I made for all my wedding guests. The main characters were bears, sheep and cats, and I also made dogs (Old English sheepdogs) and red squirrels.

All in all, I made over 30 individual models and it took me quite a while. Perhaps that explains why I didn't make any more polymer clay models until July 2009!
