Happy New Year!

1st January 2012
I don't know about you, but the last year has flown by! It feels like no time at all since I wrote my last New Year post just a shade under a year ago - the mice have definitely grown up a bit since then, if these wee mites are anything to go by!

I've had a wonderful year, and I would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who has supported Quernus and the wee creatures - whether by having fun on Facebook and Flickr, adopting a few wee creatures, or commissioning a special Quernus creation of your own. All that has really made the past year a lot of fun and very enjoyable - I have met a lot of wonderful people, and it's great that there are so many of us Quernophiles out there (and I do count myself in there - the wee creatures have captured my heart completely!)

I have to say that I'm very excited about 2012 - after the whirlwind that has been the past few months in the run up to Christmas, I'm going to be looking at ways of working differently so that more wee creatures can go forth and bring giggles to people all over the world! That will free me up to spend more time on unique commissions and collaborative pieces (like this amazing Nutcracker Ballet piece I created for the lovely Liz Holdsworth with the uber talented Glenda Bennett).

So keep watching this space! One of my New Year resolutions is to update this blog more with information about some of the wee creatures I've made - I'm looking forward to the Wild Beasties post in the next few weeks!

Thanks once again to everyone, and I wish you all good things for 2012!
